I had been in hospital and gotten out and was under heavy meds when the rep came by. I was even still on my oxygen machine. He told us that all we had to pay for was the monthly service from what I can remember had someone here that told me that I keep asking about canceling (so medicated I do not remember half the conversation.
The rep know I was under meds and should not been held confident under the medical laws of being able to sign and date anything. I apparently agreed to a phone call that I told them I agreed with terms.
However, the rep was right there looking at me and telling me what to say according to the person who was here with me. He told us we would not have to pay for equipment if we had sign in yard and my monthly services would run about 25.00 month. As I had just gotten out of the hospital for a life and death problem he was telling me how good this would be for me.
I tried to cancel the service when my mind and health was out of danger and the rep on the phone was so rude. When I told her the issues she told me that I still had to pay for the equipment and services. NOT what the home rep told me (again according to my witness.
Now got a letter from a law firm in Utah telling me they are waiting on my answer and will be reviewing me case (as of now no, lawyer had been assigned and giving me 30 days before placing a judgement or taking me to court.
Now what, i have not wanted the thing to start with and being still in a critical condition and under meds how can they hold this against me? Any real answers would be appreciated.
