I bought a voucher for a living social event something in their adventures category. Voucher was bought a month prior to the event happening. I paid extra for their VIP package that included quite a bit of things and sounded cool. We arrived to the event when it was supposed to start at 4pm.By 7pm nothing had happened, nobody knew what was going on... All we kept getting was "i'm sorry i'm sorry we're a bit behing". We left at 7 and nothing happened other than we had to buy us popcorn at the theater next door because they didn't even have any food or drinks as promised. When I called to get a refund they actually had the nerves to tell me their refund policy is 24 hours... So basically they put together misleading packages so people will pay and since it's a month after we can't do anything to get a refund. Nice scam Livingsocial!
I would not recommend the escapes or adventures to ANYONE. I can't imagine if my voucher was a simple adventure put together for LS at least I can get in my car and drive home what if it was an escape to Turkey and things are just as disorganized and misleading? No way thank you but no
