We've used Waste Management for 26 years for our garbage removal service. Our garbage disposal unit was disintegrating after 26 years of use. We called to see if they would replaced it but they refused. We checked around and got a better deal, and it turns out, a much better price and services from another vendor. We canceled our service with WM. They asked us to put our dilapidated unit out for them to retrieve it. They didn't retrieve it after a week of it being put where they claimed they would pick it up. They sent us a note to tell us, again, when they would pick it up. We put it back out. They came back three days later and retrieved it. They then billed us for retrieving it and for an extra "trip charge cart not out trip fee." The fee was $50. Please do not ever use this company. They are one of the worst companies to deal with. How can a company screw up garbage, you ask? Waste Management will find a way.
