A word of advise is to review your credit report every 6 months or so.in doing so today I discovered the name of Palisades Collection on my Credit Report stating a serious delinquecy of $455.00. It was first reported in July 04 and has been affecting my credit to date. I have never heard of this company. I have never received any correspondence from this company and have no idea who this company is.
I am now in the process of contacting the company and researching the delinquest debt listed by ATT Wireless. No date of delinquency is posted and now it will remain for 7 years on my report.
My thoughts are that this account of ATT Wireless was of an previous cell phone company LA Cellular. I paid this account and closed in 1993 which would pass the statue of limitations for credit reporting. My research has shown continuous faulty reporting affecting individual's credit by Palisades Collection and I for one would like to put an end to these erroneous reports.
