I recieved a bill from One Web Direct Bill, I had not ever heard of this company and I had NOT called the United Kingdom. I went on line to go to the website where I was informed is where I should go if I wanted to dispute the statement. I wasn't able to go to their webpage, my search resulted in a 0 match.
I then called the 800# listed on the back and was told I was the
#2 in the line of "on hold" customers. I then was greeted by a male voice and a bad connection. He answered my questions like he had been trained in the school of not willing to give you the answers you need. I then explained that the email address which appeared on this bill was not obtainable, he did not even address that comment.
He quickly gave me an address in Bedford, New Hampshire to write any disagreement I may have about my bill. The address to return this so called statement was in Dallas, Tx. I then inquired the type of business they were, how this account had been set up and who authorized the charge. He could not tell me, only repeating the address in New Hampshire. I have 10 days to pay this bill to avoid late fees, and I must notify them in writing within (60) days to inform them of a problem, then they have (40) to acknowledge my notice of dispute. Then 90 days to either correct or notify me that I must pay.
So, I am really ticked off that this company has so many complaints from other consumers, yet they are still able to conduct this business and we have try to get this cleared up.
