My boyfriend co signed on a 900 dollar bond for his friend. The friend missed court. The bondsmen came to our house and stole our truck. When we demanded the paperwork that my boyfriend signed (he gave the only copy we received to his friend) his signature was on a power of attorney that he never signed. It was stamped by a male notary public and the bondsman we dealt with was female. They got our vin off our truck when they came to our house looking for the friend. We never even mentioned our truck when signing the bond. We would not have done that. These people were very rude and nasty every time. We cooperated in every way, but 8 months later they took our truck.
