I bought a jacket for my daughter on 1-10-02 for her birthday. It was given to her on 1-13-02.
The day after (she wore it once) I noticed a yellow stain on the sleeve. It was not there when I purchased it.
The next day, other stains started to appear on the front of the jacket. It looked like some kind of mold, or bug infestation as I noticed a small, dead bug on the original stain on the sleeve.
I immediatley put it in a bag and put it in the garage. On the 16th of January, I took it back to the store along with other clothing I bought and asked for a refund for everything as I was afraid of contamination.
They refused to return money for the jacket because it had been worn once! Is Target not responsible for inspecting items that they put on their racks?
How was I to know that the jacket had some kind of contamination? I remembered that there were two other jackets on the rack that day but they would not even entertain the thought of going over to them and checking them to see if they were in the same condition.
I went over to look but they were gone. I will never shop in Target again... They do not stand by their merchandise and are a big rip-off!
