On april 7, i purchased from casual male xl, a 3exl powder blue sport jacket at a cost of $178.00 on april 10th, i brought the jacket to q cleaners to have the left arm shortened and a pad placed
in the left sholder. The proprietor's wife came out to do the preliminary work. She was very curt. My impression at the time was
she was very tired. She told me she could not do the pad but would shorten the sleeve. She pinned the left sleeve. I believe she gave me a ticket, but knowing what i know now, she could not have given me a ticket as she would have had to place the information in the computer to print the ticket.
I became involved in researching the purchase of an automobile and did not rerturn to pick up the jacket from the cleaners until april 31st. I could not find the ticket. I now know she never gave me a ticket. The counterman (proprietor) searched for the ticket number in the computer using both my telephone numbers. Obviously, it wasn't there. I was sure i brought it there but his wife said she did not recognize me. I asked them to search through the store. The jacket would be easy to recognize. A 56 long, powder blue jacket is easy to spot. They said it wasn't there. I left. A 78 year old chubby man should not get too excited.
Yesterday, i went back, to ask politely to go through the store again. The owner got mad and said no. He then told me his wife did remember me but because she would not do the sholder pad i left with the jacket. He then got mad and walked away from me to the back of the store. I tried to get him to understand that a good businessman would be happy to assist me. If we found the jacket it would be great. I would then pay for the cost of shortening the left sleeve and if we did not find it i would be thankful for there assistance.
I would like to go through the store immediately.
