City of Wyoming shut off my water even though my payments made in the last 6 months were more than my water usage. I was taken off of work due to health issues on leave 2 months without any income at all. I recieved a shut off notice from the water company I filed for emergency releif to help with the payment the state did not make the payment because they were requiring me to pay 175 dollars which agian I had no income and no money. The water company still shut my water off. I called there office and I was not happy they hung up on me 4 times I called back and they wouldnt even answer my call they just pick up the phone not even say anything then hang up on me. They refused to help me.
The backed up bill was from last year they should had shut to water off then.
They did not and now are shutting off my water due to bills that were from a year ago. I have made hundreds of dollars in payments totatled to city of wyoming then in less than 6 month I by far have paid more than triple what my bills in in usage per month yet they go and shut me off. Water bills are due every three months they shut me off I had a payment on the account in May from my very last check I had at work.
No my 2 kids and I are in a house at heavy risk of dehydriation as its hot and our central air has not worked in over a year we cant use the toiltes cook, clean bathe, shower and they refused to take my calls and refused to help me and refused to turn my water back on. I dont understand how you can decide to take bills from a year ago and use them to shut someone off.
I also wanted to mention that they shut me off end of July they notice they sent was from beginning of June they had not sent me another shut off notice since. Now they refuse to talk to me I have no way to turn my water on and I have no income for another month.
How arte we going to make it? I have nothing and not one place has any funds available to help me turn my water on. What a horrible place this is. I pay taxes for 20 years and can't get help from anyone and no help from wyoming, MI in shutting off my water even though I still paid 3 times more than what my usage was over the last six months.
Just want to make note so if somethign happens to my family such as we die from deydration or disease during the next month and a half till we can come up with the money than they should be responsible as I was paying as planned they were the ones that decided to not shut my water off a year ago and now take it out on me when I am over paid.
