I was contacted via phone and told that NSBA was offering a o% APR $8000.00 line of credit.
They failed to tell me the credit was only good for computer and travel purchases.
I authorized a 99.95 payment to initiate the credit line with the understanding that the cost to me would be an additional 19.95 per month for the use of the line of credit.
At the time, I was working and had no access to the internet. After work I did a search on National Small Business Alliance and found the "Rip Off" report.
I immediately called my bank and put a stop payment on the check for 99.95 that I authorized. I then asked that they refuse any future payments to NSBA but upon receiving my bank statement there has been another 239.95 withdrawn from my account by them.
I am in the process now of going to my bank in person to get this charge reversed.
When the documents arrived from NSBA I wrote refused on it and returned it immediately. To date I have had no contact with NSBA but will do so today to get this cleared up.
I will file a follow up report when this is resolved.
