I have a problem with the rebutal offered by the founder of the company - mainly because the exact same thing happened to me a month later. If your people were being told to tell the truth it is a hard to believe that they are telling the same lie. I to was told on 3 seperate occasions that I was getting a platinum mastercard or visa. I was fortunate enough to get suspicious when the call ended and I called the customer service number privided and I could not get through after several attempts.
I contacted my bank immediately to block any transmission of funds. I then called back and without asking for any information I was given the opportunity to get my $8000 line of credit. So I went through the step making up info as I went along constantly asking the person to confirm that this was a master card or visa with a $8000 limit - they verified that every time.
I did this twice on the third call I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said much of what you said in you letter... Funny thing is that very supervisor was the person I spoke with during my first call and she lied to me then. Your company is misrepresenting itself and that is being nice about it.
