Dish Network
False Advertisement and Theft by deceiption, CO

KBS World is a channel with everyone of Dish Network's packages offered. I have been paying for my cable for over three years but have never received this channel.

When I've tried to talk to them at the Executive Resolution Team (not corp. Office, just a call center with a fancy name to deceive customers) they have repeated lied about offering help and will give you every excuse possible that they hope you will fall for. After finally getting them to admit their mistake of installing the incorrect dish and admitting that they owe me back payments for not receiving my channels because of the incorrect dish they attempted to charge me $99.00 for a tech to come out and install the correct dish to receive the channels I've been paying for but not receiving. After spending close to 17 hours on the phone over a four day period listening to every excuse know to man, being hung up on, transfered around the world (literally), they finally said they would do the repairs without charging me. I was told this would be done as a one time convenience for my troubles. So time for the appointment.

The next available appointment in my area (saving all the repairs until there was enough to make it worth their time to pay a tech to go to my area) was two weeks after. I received a email from Dish Network the day before confirming my day and time. The tech came a day earlier than the appointment date and came between 12-5 when the appointment was between 8-12. So no one was home when the tech came on the (wrong) day and time. No phone call, email, text, note on door from the tech about the visit to the home. The next day was spent waiting on a tech that never showed. When I check the my appointment screen on the dish website it said the tech showed up for 1 minute left and then showed up for 3 minutes. This was a falsified document because upon confirmation from multiple reps the tech could not find the address in his GPS, nor could he find the actual location and did come to the home.

Another two days with over 12 hours of runaround from the resolution team and another appointment made. This appointment was made for of all days July 4th. I sat around the house losing a company paid holiday, and missing the town parade and activies waiting on a tech that never showed. When I called in the next day the office had my appointment date and time but once they called the dispatch office no appointment was made in their records.

Next appointment I didn't even make. Dish Network had a automated recording call me and remind me of a appointment for the next day between 8-12. This was a total shock to me due to me never talking to anyone about making a appointment for this day or time. Since I would be home durring the appointment time I confirmed it on the phone and expect the next day to be a waste of time. It was since noone showed yet again. I called the office about 2:30pm and told me tech would be there at 3:36pm. At 4:45pm I called back to ask yet again where the tech was and was told me tech would be there at 4:40pm??? The tech is going to show up at 4:40pm and it was already 4:45pm. How do we go backwards in time? The tech called me while I was on the line with the rep inquiring on how we travel back in time. The tech said they were still at their other job and it would be 30 minutes before they got there. I told them I am not at home but if they called me when they arrived I could be there in 2 minutes. The tech said he would call me when he was at me door. Big shock &No phone call. When I called the office that evening to ask what happened with the tech the rep said their notes show I called in at 2:30 and informed them that no one would be home and told them to cancel the appointment.

Being that this channel is offered with every Dish package I'd be willing to bet a good 90% of Dish customers are paying for this channel but not receiving it. This would be a very easy class action lawsuit for back payments owed to customers for not receiving what they have been paying for, for years. If anyone has any information about how to start a class action lawsuit please reply with that.

One final note: Out of 30 people I spoke with I finally had one rep (not manager) rep actually offered credits on my bill for the next year to try to repay the back payments however it has been three weeks and the credits do not show in my bill when I look online and/or when I speak with reps on the phone. No one seems to know anything about the credits.
