This agency is a total scam! Everyone I know has received a letter from Kids.com saying that their child was just brought to the attention of Kid.com and they are interested in speaking with you regarding your child's modeling and acting career. To sum it all up - you go to their office which is all set up with a bunch of pictures of children on magazine covers and in commercials and film and you are left thinking that this is what will happen to your child.
You then are given a contract to sign and are required to pay a fee of $595 for a 5 year contract in which Kids.com will supposedly "make available on specific request" your childs photos, which you must have taken at one of their contracted studios for a small sitting fee. They also require a 15% commission should they get your child any work.
It has been over 2 years now and I have not received one phone call. I have spoken to several different people who say the exact same thing. They paid the money, had the photos taken and have still to receive one phone call from this agency. After reading the many complaints about this company I now see that they are a complete fraud. They need to be put out of business!
It is unfair that they are allowed to remain in business and steal $595 from each person that they scam into signing these contracts. You will never hear from them again after you pay your fee. Shame on Kids.com and everyone who works for them for using our beautiful children for their own gain.
