Received bill for subscription to Taste of Home that was not ordered or any confirmation in email from this site had I by chance been in any sites that are published through them. I do not order anything.
Went to their site, typed in account number that was on bill and does not exist. I further read where it may not and need to start one by filling out a user name, etc. Emailed customer service, the only place on site and cancelled which says, I have to wait 24 hrs. Then called 800 number and repeatedly asked for her name and to spell it. It seemed to be an unusual request. Told fist issue was free, inspect and then decide. Said I did not want and was told it was cancelled and to ignore bill (s) that might be received. Note, I have entered a few sweepstakes but am very careful reading that I am not subscribing to anything and always click enter without if it is there. A lesson learned but fhey sent email which stated if ordered by mistake through a sweepstakes, click here. Easy. As I check all emails and spam, I received none from them. This is written to let others beware as I have read numerous complaints. The only thing Taste of Home gave me is a bad taste. Will have to wait to see if this was resolved and will stay away from all their known publications and never a future customer.
