Straight Talk does not disclose all information on the website nor anywhere regarding services provided and which phones work with each service. I purchased an LG phone, as I was told by one of the customer service reps, on line. I live in a rual area in which only Verizon service will work without drop calls. After buying my phone and activating it I find that they gave me ATT service. Even though ATT does have very few towers in my area, ATT does not work well and drops calls 7 miles south and 15 miles north of my home. I asked customer service to change me to Verizon and was told that even though I purchased an LG phone it is one with a sim card and only ATT works with this phone. I was on the phone with four different people for two hours trying to make them understand that ATT does not work in my area only to not get any satisfaction. I expressed that they need to disclose this information to the consumers so that we can make the appropriate purchases. Buyers beware! You may find the phone you want but you will not get a choice of the service provider and they will not tell you who they are going to give you as a provider until too late. I thought companies had to disclose all information when selling any product, boy do I feel stupid! Dont end up frustrated like me, go straight to the carrier you know works for you best and do not go to Straight Talk! Oh, also they pick your carriers through your zip code you enter. If your like me, you live in one zip code and work in another so you need a wide service range. So there are two things to really look at when trying to buy from this company!
