Pharmacist Sal Was Insulting CVS Insulted, humiliated me. Ripoff

Below was my letter sent to CVS I ask for an apology from Sal but never recieved it, instead they sent me a $20 gift card. I guess money will buy them a ticket to insult customers:

Dear Sir (VP of operations, and Officers of CVS, CVS Cutomer Service directors.),

I have been a customer of CVS ever since CVS was known by the name of "People's Drugs". On Monday August 9th, I have never been more insulted and humiliated before in my entire life by Sal the pharmacist of Store #1219 221 Hope Street. Stamford, CT 06906 (203.921.1313).

Let me describe the incident to you. Early in the morning of the incident, I have called my Doctor to call in CVS so that I can pick up a prescription. I waited until 1PM and called CVS to check and verify that the prescription is called in by my doctor. The lady who answered had a hard time hearing me and I had to repeat my name 4 or 5 times. I thought it was my cell phone that was breaking up so I asked her "Are you there?" The lady suddenly got offened and started to yell at me saying "I am not deaf you idiot!".

Then she transferrred me around to Sal the store Pharmacist. I asked Sal "Why did she snapped at me like that?" but before I was able to finish my sentence Sal didn't have time for this and hung up on me. So I called back and got a different phone lady and I asked her about my prescription and she verified it wasn't called in.

I called back again at 3PM to check on my prescription, this time they told me that It is ready. I went to CVS to pick up my medicine right away and as I was paying the cashier at the pharmacy, I asked who was it that I had spoken with earlier on the phone? Sal stepped in and said he spoke with me earlier but denied hangin up on me. He also pointed out that the lady answering the phone was deaf. I said Sal, you did hang up on me and despite the lady answering the phone was deaf she shouldn't have jumped the gun and anticipated an insult from me.

Then Sal started talking to me in a derrogatory tone saying "Look, apparently you are not understanding me." I said "Sal I don't want to hear anymore from you and I'm leaving." Sal then continued onwards in front of all the customers "Don't let the door hit you on the way out!". I then turned around and asked him for his name, Sal then responded "do you want me to write it down? Or can you read?" (pointing at his badge. I was in disbelief.

Apparently Sal is free to say anything to his customers and engage in slinging insults at his customers. I went to CVS because throughout my patronage there for over a decade, I have been treated very nicely and CVS was very quick at filling prescriptions.

Unfortunately I will not return to this particular CVS again in my entire life nor would I recommend it to anyone else due to this humiliation and insult. I also may not return to any other CVS if this issue remain unresolved. All I ask is that a Senior Officer of CVS speak with Sal about his behavior. I would also like an apology from Sal for this matter to be closed. Otherwise I will be forced to submit this letter to the better Business Bureau and usacomplaints.com website.

Sincerely,

F
