I have had 3 separate lines of service with Cricket Wireless for about a year now. One of my phones is broken and I have deemed it an unnecessary line. I went online to turn it off but was unable get anything done online. So, I went in to the store and was informed that since it was the first day of my billing cycle, that I would have to pay for a full month's service on all 3 phone lines and could then turn off one of my phones.
If I would not pay the full amount for all 3 lines, then all 3 phones would be turned off. So they expect me to pay $45 for a months worth of service that I did not and will not receive since the third phone is broken anyway and that there was no other option. So either hand them money for nothing or lose all 3 phone lines. All 3 phone lines were turned off immediately. I have been a very long time customer of Cricket Wireless and have even been paying for 3 lines of service.
Yet over one $45 charge, they would rather lose my business completely on all 3 lines of servive than to simply not charge me for services not received on one of the lines. When you also consider the fact that Cricket is well known for having mediocre phone service (although I had been happy with it as it was sufficient) it is not surprising that their customer service is nearly non-existent. And I thought there were some wireless phone wars going on! Cricket is not even trying and not worth your effort or money!
