Just when my child picked a bear to be stuffed, the store was flooded with 16 kids and their parents who came there for a scheduled party. The party took place in the same room where the other customers were making bears. The party leader screamed for 20 minutes, sometimes joined by the children. All the other customers including ourselves were overwhelmed with all this noise. The store is not equipped to have so many people at the same time. The noise from the party was so great that even the attendant who stuffed our bear, seemed shell-shocked. She didnt even ask how soft we wanted the bear, and we had to remind her about the heart. All the other attendants were running around trying to keep the party guests happy. It was almost like we were second rate customers.
It couldve been a positive experience, but we ended up hurrying to get out of there. I think having a party at the same time and in the same room where the other customers are working on their bears is unfair to these customers. Its not like we were getting a discount. We still paid regular price, but were treated like we were inferior to the guests of the party.
Bottomline: having a loud party in the same room ruins the experience of the other customers and is not fair to them.
