I contracted with SHAWN BYRNE of FOX POOLS AND PATIOS to build a deck, a patio roof, and a waterfall. SHAWN is a very charming guy, and I really liked him. Don't be fooled by this. I paid one third ($9,000.00) down to get started. Then after we got the approval from the HOA and supposedly the City of Allen permits which he said he got, he would never show up. Doing business with him was an emotional roller coaster.
Finally, his people showed up and set five beams for the patio roof. That was the only work completed on the contract. Now SHAWN will not respond to my phone calls, texts, or e-mails. I gave him a deadline to settle the account, and again he did not respond. If anyone else has been defrauded by SHAWN BYRNE or FOX POOLS AND PATIOS, please contact me at 808-542-6165.
