This has been the worst experience I have ever run across
when working with any type of contractor.
The owner, Shawn Byrne, is only interested in closing the deal and not at all concerned about the final product. Only when I threatened with calling an attorney, did he finally respond and only via text message.
His company built a BBQ and Patio Cover on the back of our house, and my 8 year old could have done a better job. First it started out with the gas leaking into the house, and he said it was fixed, but never was. I finally had to hire a true plumber to come out and fix the leak (costing me $753).
He also did not attach the patio correctly. The existing roof was a 4-12 and he continued it out as a 5-12 leaving a 6 inch drop at the end of the Patio - he tried to blame the gutter installation (a subcontractor) but after one of his guys finally came out (he refused to answer any calls and refused to come out even when pictures were sent to him) and verified that there was indeed a problem, the only "fix" they could come up with was jacking up one side (the side that was most visible from the yard and street) level but therefore dropping the other side another 3 inches.
