On May 28th, I purchased a computer from Best Buy in Augusta, Ga for $699.99 plus tax. Later that day my son-in-law, who works there, but did not sell me the computer, called my daughter and I had to pay an additional $700 or he would be fired. My daughter got scared and went in and paid the money. They voided out my receipt, issued a gift card, then charged her account and used the gift card. I found about it the next day and had my wife return the computer. They refunded my daughters card, but issued me a gift card. On the original purchase, I paid with my credit card. I want that money refunded. I do not want a gift card. I never authorized them to access my information and do a return (without the product) and issue a gift card. I feel my privacy has been violated and I still can't get my money back. I elevated the complaint to corporate and have received no relief. The general manager refuses to come out of his office and speak to me. II have all the receipts.
