I have been a customer with T-mobile for 2 1/2 years and on the family plan for over a year.in June I bought a third line and at the same time I upgraded my phone to a newer one that had a $50.00 mail in rebate. I mailed in all that was required and made copies for myself. The qualifications for the rebate is to have a $39.99 plan or higher for a year to recieve the rebate. My plan at the time was $69.99. Meanwhile I added a fourth line to my account and raised the plan to $99.99. So now I get a letter saying that the rebate requires that I am a T-Mobile customer and have been on a $39.99 or higher for at least 12 months... (And that I have been)
Now the claim that since I changed my plan to a higher one while the rebate was in process that it voids the rebate... I did not read that anywhere and also T-Mobile customer care had never heard of such an act before.
T-Mobile recognized that I have been a good customer with them for 2 1/2 years with a perfect payment history and I did not diserve to be treated like that so they give me a $50.00 credit to my account but this scam needs to be addressed and stopped so that nobody else gets ripped off as they put it in their pockets!
