Fraudulent ppv movies added to bill

Last October I moved into an apartment and ordered Comcast cable and high speed internet. My service had been great until I received my first bill. There was a $10.95 charge for a ppv movie I did not order. I called Comcast to dispute the problem and no one would credit my account. So, I paid it. (big mistake.)

So the next bill came, and the next... And for nine months now I have been getting bills with ppv movies on them that I DID NOT order. These are not just any movies, they are pornos. Many rented, when I know for a fact, I wasn't even home. Everytime I receive my bill I call Comcast and tell them I am not ordering these movies and want them taken off. They don't take them off, so, I am forced to pay almost $50.00 more a month in ppv movies that I have not purchased in fear my credit history will be at stake.

When I call, the phone operators are extemely rude. They have no regard for my problem, only accuse me of renting these movies and then calling to have them taken off. I get contradicting answers everytime I call and once was even hung up on.

Finally, after a series of unhelpful phone calls they told me I could have a technician come out to my house and check my box. Apparently, if you are renting ppv movies from your tv they will show up in the box and the tech will know if you are the one ordering them. Needless to say I had a technician come out on two different occasions and both found no movies ordered.

I kept the receipts signed by the technicians and physically brought them into the Comcast office in Royal Oak, Michigan. (I was told this was the proof I needed to get them credited to my account.) The women helping me made a copy of these receipts and told me she would give them to her boss, who would call me. A week later I had not received a call. So again, I drove a half an hour out of my way to the Comcast office. I then spoke to the supervisor who told me the receipts from the technicians mean nothing. She had no authority to take them off and would have to speak with her manager who could make no guarentees that anything could be done. I am still awaiting her call. I am also still waiting to speak with anyone who has any type of customer service skills whatsoever!

This has been an ongoing problem for almost a year now, with almost $300.00 worth of charges on my bills. I am a college student and due to the type of movies that are being put on my bill (porn) no one is willing to believe I am not ordering these. I am being pushed around and talked down to because I am young. I am sick of being accused of lying and trying to scam them out of their money. I don't know of anyone who has enough time or patience to order these movies and go through so many problems to get them taken off. I know these movies can be credited to my account. I know people who have had it done... And I WANT IT DONE NOW!!!

I cannot believe this company is still in business. They are completely unorganized, unhelpful and extremely rude. Please, STAY AWAY FROM COMCAST! If there is anything you know of that I can to resolve this problem I would greatly appreciate. It.
