I went to work for A.M.I. This was the most demeaning job I've ever encountered. It's worse than a boiler room. They make you stand in a room for hours while they make you memorize acronyms. Then they send you out in the field where they make you go door to door and solicit people by saying your from ATT which you clearly are not from. They make you work a minimum of a nine hour day. They prey on the young to fill they're sales force. When I apllied for the job, I asked Vanessa about the report in usacomplaints.com and she relpied that people complain about her all the time. Big red flag. After spending a week being chased out of apartments and condos and threatened with the police, for soliciting, I was looking forward to getting a paycheck deposited into my checking account by direct deposit. My sales trainer who shadowed me said that I was to be paid that day. I called my bank the next day and they said no money was deposited in my account from A.M.I. Marketing. I was given a sheet that spelled out what I was to make in training. So I called Vanessa and she said that I wasn't to be payed untill I opened two applications. Not getting paid for doing a job when they say you"ll get paid needs to be against LAW! And besides that my sales trainer purposely held me back from completing my pitch so he could get the application.
