I had a small thinning spot near the front of my hairline. They shaved me from ear-to-ear telling me that the minimum size they offer has to be 3" by 6" — the hair "system" (as they call it) can't be smaller than that.
I was promised in my first visit that the "new hair" would look, feel, behave as my own did. That was a lie. I asked for straight hair and was consistently sent extremely wavy, curly, frizzy - you name it and I got it. One even looked like the end of a horses tail. My stylist said he wasn't certain just WHAT it was and that it didn't look like human hair to him either!
Every time I complained about the type of hair they had sent, I was told that I wasn't using all of their hair products properly. Can you believe? No one ever took responsibillity for their mistakes — it was ALWAYS my fault.
I recently quit the hair club when they breached their contract for the umpteenth time. I went to another hair club and was told that they would make me a "system" exactly the same size as the area on my head that was thinning. I am now in the process of re-growing the hair that was shaved off.
We have retained an attorney here in Minneapolis and are in the process of filing a class-action lawsuit.
