Bait and Switch Estimates and Horrible Customer Service

First, the estimate given was for $1200. When the truck was loaded and shipped, suddenly the charge we needed to pay was over $2000!!! Why?"Moving estimates are just that, estimates" they say. Aren't they the experts in this field? Shouldn't they be able to get closer than 70%? Obviously not.

Then, the movers used to drop off the items consisted of a day laborer who weighed 100 pounds and the "moving captain", read useless lumux, who didn't move a thing. My girlfriend's brother who happened to be there had to move most of the heavy items.

And finally, a glass table top never arrived and we were told to submit a claim. The claim would be processed within 120 days! 120 days! When the claim came back, they cut the value of what we were looking for in half. When we called to ask as to what steps we could take from here, they said you can accept the claim at half value or we're screwed. There were no more options.

Worst ever customer service, worst estimate. Just a terrible experience overall.
