Me and my mom searched for movers with very good reputation, that has no bad reviews. So far, found this South Coast Carriers who has no bad or good reviews. Look into DOT and found no complaints. Talk with Mike and Alex about what I will need at my new home. Then gave me a great price. Then talk with Sergio at Greenvan lines who is ultra nice (he told me about packaging cost extra and extra steps cost extra). I told him about this south coast carriers who (MIKE) told me free packing of tvs. So I took him (MIKE). I was making estimates (mostly taking almost all furnitures). Before the movers came, I went back home to make sure if there are any extras. Which there was, like four more furnitures (small cabinets, dining tables, etc) and extra 20 large boxes (I replace those medium size boxes with large boxes). Mike told me it cost more if we do by pounds, so he wants to do it by items only, so cheaper for me. (Was I wrong about him). So I called them, and I want another estimate... The guy said that raised a red flag with his boss because I called multiple times for estimates (I have been trying to be precise about items to shop) so I won't be RIP OFF!!! He said let the movers come and give me an estimate... Won't rip me off... Haha. What a liar! The movers came late one day because of "engine problems". Then I asked for estimate before start moving... They said that they need to move everything up to the truck to give proper estimate... (I remember on the internet saying that don't let the movers move stuff until estimates is done. But because I trust MIke, I believe the movers). What an idiot I am. Then they said they need to charge me with packing the tvs... I said what??? My mom was tired waiting for these IDIOTS, so she said go ahead with me. I should have trusted Sergio of GREENVAN lines instead of SOUTH COAST CARRIERS! In the end it double the price estimates. I REPEAT DO NOT USE SOUTH COAST CARRIERS! Fine, it's my fault for trusting a person by the name of MIKE.
Then when they came to deliver, they want to charge an extra 20 dollars for toll! What! The mover (EDWARDO) was very professional, but he had complaints about this moving company already. He said he will quit this company. I refused to pay an extra 20. Then he called the company. This STUPID guy said what an extra 20, it's nothing. Just charge it to credit. I got really MAD! I told him that I pay expensive already, and you now want to make me pay extra...&$*#*# (@ South Coast Carriers. Edwardo said the company is called DELTA MOVERS. Hmmmm. South Coast Carriers are shady people. Please people, do not use south coast carriers. The packaging the movers used did NOT help with chip and breaks of furnitures. What a scam. I am going to complain to DOT.
