Had a very small move. Packed my own boxes. 15 items total, none larger than a 4 foot diameter table. To be moved into their storage.
They told me on the phone that it would not take 2 hours but there was a 2 hour minimum. Fine, no problem. Was also quoted $95/hour.
When the movers arrived the rate had gone up to $118/hour, no explanation. What was I to do - already taken the day off, move date approaching.
Then they told me there was a 4 hour "estimate", but assured me the difference between the real time and the 4 hours would be refunded back to my credit card.
Took the movers less than 45 minutes to both inventory and load all my items, and they were not exactly breaking a sweat over it either. Was charged the full 4 hours, complaints to the office resulted in no action.
Would never recommend, will never use again. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU AT LEAST GET A BINDING ESTIMATE IN WRITING, and I still would not recommend these guys.
