Our small CD and T-Shirt business received an outrageous $34.00 bill from some company called ZPDI/OPTICOM. We learned they bill a (4) minute minimum. We received the bill in early July for a call made on June 16th. No one had a clue who answered or who the call was from. We first contacted Qwest and informed them we are not paying, then contacted ZPDI from a number given us by Qwest. We e-mailed ZPDI after searching them out on the web, they responded by shuffling us on to OPTICOM. They responded, only that they had equipment that proves someone here pressed (1) on our phone. They told us to investigate the caller, yet flatly refused to provide any info whatsoever on the location of the phone. We e-mailed Qwest, who provided the phone location as being at the high school in Camp Verde, AZ. This limited the # of potential callers down to several hundred. We contacted the school district and notified them that there was a predator on campus... We published a copy of their bill on our new WatchDog website
. We are now proceeding to contact ALL major hotel chains, Restaurant, super market and drug store chains in the U.S. And direct them to view the OPTICOM/ZPDI bill spectacle on this site.
