After hearing a fairytale about how this company was going to take $3.95 for shipping and handeling from my bank account and in return I would recieve $200 in free gas, I was immediatly hooked on how much $200 in free gas could do for a broke college student. "All that for $3.95" I remember thinking. Wow was a wrong and STUPID Afterbeing told the gas would be sent in 12 days I waited and waited. I checked my back balance everyday to see if the charge had been taken out. After 2 weeks the charge still had not been taken from my account. After 3 weeks still no charge was taken from my account And shockingly still no gas.
I figured it was a probably a mix up so after 3 1/2 weeks I spent my last $4.00 I was holding in my account for this scam to go through on a Big Mac meal. Well a few days later my account was billed for $3.95 from U-TALK. Yea you guessed it, I over drafted So then I had an overdraft charge of $40.00 Needless to say it has been 3 months since I was ripped off and I still have not seen any gas. I have called back every 2 weeks nd every two weeks I'm told that they are on the way and will be sent the next day. Now they tell me that the complaint will be sent to the head-quarters and I will hear from them with-in 2 or 3 days. I have read many cases where people are being scammed of alot more money then me by this company, so I should consider myself lucky, but reguardless of the amount it is the issue at hand of honesty. Funny, the other name for UTALK is American VALUES! I can't see the American Values in this company at all.
