Despite the image of the kindly older gentleman on the ads, the greeters at the Wal Mart in Benton are rude, obnoxious, bouncers!
Christmas Eve my husband and I split up to do a little last minute shopping for each other.
After I checked out we met up and headed out the door when the 'scan alarm' went off.
I was confronted by a big woman named "Helga" (no I'm serious) who is a greeter.
She stood there demanded to see my receipt and read out loud everything I had purchased as she rifled my sacks!
So much for "santa' surprises. I had bought my husband a bottle of cologne but I saw the cashier swipe across the "theft decoder" there was no apology from Helga just a huffy snort as she took off to offend another customer.
Just in case you are wondering, I am a middle aged and middle class. So I don't fit their "profiles"
