Lasership Delivery Service is a company that is used quite often by Amazon.com to deliver merchandise to their customers. Many unwary buyers place their order on Amazon.com and then discover to their horror that Lasership Delivery Service has been contracted to deliver their items. Unlike other delivery services that knock on doors, ring doorbells, and collect a signature from the recipient of the delivered goods, Lasership Delivery Service supposedly sends out a driver to an address that they randomly pick off a map that they have in their delivery room and match to the address on the Amazon.com paperwork sent to them for delivery. The driver alleges to go out to the address that the merchandise is supposed to be delivered to, and instead of knocking on the door, ringing the doorbell of the home and waiting for a response from the intended recipient, they simply leave the package at the entranceway of the home, or throw it on the lawn or deliver it to a different address than that on the delivery slip without collecting a signature from the recipient, and then uploads a report stating that delivery has been made at a certain time at the front door of the home. They don't collect a signature from the recipient, therefore there is no verifiable way to prove the delivery of the package at the correct address because they don't post what address they delivered to, nor do they have a name of a person to whom they gave the package. When the customer calls the customer service to verify what address the item is delivered to, they speak with a customer service rep that is clueless as to who the driver was that delivered the package, where the package was delivered to, and who the recipient of the package was and at what address it was left at, so that a customer can contact the person and collect their package. Customer service informs you that they will get back with you, so they ask you for your name, address, telephone number, email address, order number and package number. They also tell you that they will see to it that the driver goes back to the party who receive the package, collect it from them, and redeliver the item to the correct party. Days pass and no package shows up. No driver shows up at your home to redeliver the package and you are left clueless as to whom to blame for the delivery mishap. Was it the driver, or the people who tell the driver where to deliver the package to? The customer then contacts Amazon.com and speaks with a customer service representative who doesn't want to be bothered by your complaint and refuses to extend the simple courtesy of doing an investigation on what happened to the package by contacting the delivery service and getting them out to complete the delivery of your order. However, they dare to post that the delivery has been made to you the customer although in actuality it has been delivered to someone else. A month goes by and you are still waiting to find out the status of your order and who received it.in the process of this wait your funds have been collected for the merchandise you ordered, the delivery service has long forgotten you and has refused to contact you about the delivery status of your order, you are still without the item that you originally ordered, and finally you give up on the whole affair because your health will suffer if you continue to ponder upon your loss. This is absolutely unnecessary if the courier service will have the decency to hold their drivers accountable for each package that they are responsible for delivering. When the driver has to pay for each product that is lost in transit thanks to their negligence, they will either be more attentive and careful when they deliver packages or decide to find a different job and not mess with the delivery of your order. Simply put people avoid ordering through Amazon.com while they continue to use Lasership Delivery Service, or until such a time when Lasership Delivery Service will account for their mistakes and start providing people with quality delivery service that is held accountable to both the merchant and buyer. Thank you complaint for allowing me to vent my frustration at the illegal practices that companies such Amazon.com and Lasership do to innocent people like us.
