We have a flood and a company called firstcall restorations were called by the plumber. And I showed up and cut the bottom part of the wall out went to sewage head seep into the sheetrock. He said he fix the problems, I closed the rooms off until the dryers were done.
A few days later I begin to smell something. I found 2 compartments that he didn't even look into that were full of sewage saturated clothing that could have been saved. I called the company and the guy came back out and remove the clothes.
He said he took responsibility for the damages and we would being reimbursed. But I never heard anything from them so I called the company to inquire about the clothes and a owner, patrick, so generously offered me 50 dollars for the entire contractor bags of clothes.
I declined saying how two items in that bag were 50 dollars alone. I requested they just bring all the clothes back and I'll try to salvage this many as I can myself. Patrick agreed.
195 days and several attempts on my part to retrieve the clothes, Patrick texts me (which I still have) and says that the clothes were ruined already by level 3 sewage and thrown in the garbage.
