A few weeks back I receive a phone call from Maximum Security Alarm inc the person on the other end of the phone says to me you have won an alarm system at no cost to you what so ever so I say to the person no cost at all no monthly fees or anything he said that is correct sir we randomly do this and the only thing we ask is that you allows us to put a sign on your property showing our name and that you have an alarm. And there will be no charge at all to you.
So I said OK the person said we will send a person out to talk to you about the alarm and to set up a date to install the system. So we set a date and a few days later a Mr. Noe Lua showed up and showed us the alarm and told us what it would do. We said that sounds great then he says there is no charge for the installation we said great then he said but there is a monthly fee and that will be $29 dollars a month I told Mr. Lua but we where told all would be free he said they did it again he said you are the second person they have told this to and that is not true. He made a call and we said we are not interested then. He gave us a stack of business cards and said for every person you refer we will give you $100 dollars. And he left I feel that was a huge scam wasted my time and this was after I asked person who called us in the first place many times so there is no fee for installation or monthly fee for service and was told no at least 5 times.
All we would have to do was allows for a small sign to be put on property.
