I had thought Jordan's to be a reputable store above pushing and misrepresenting extended warranty contracts. I was wrong.
When purchasing a leather couch in I was also sold a warranty plan and told that "whatever" happened the plan would provide coverage. I was not informed of any restrictions, told that the warranty would be recorded in their computers, and not given a written copy of the plan.
When I did make a claim this year, I was informed of multiple restrictions including a 5-day window to report the event, to be a witness of the event (so as to report the cause), and that pet damage would not be covered. I would never have purchased the plan had I been made aware of these cumbersome restrictions.
A quick perusal online shows that many others have been similarly mislead by Jordan's furniture.
