I was hired as Virtual Assistant to work from home. I was hired by Mr. Michael Robe and was asked to do some internet searches as "tasks' which I did. Then Mr. Robe sai dthey needed a deposit ticket from me in order to put my fee in, whci I did fill out. On March 6 I received an demail and phone call from Mr. Robe telling me that they had put $9284.00 in my account, which they did and he tehn sent instructions for me to wire these funds out in smaller incruments to someone in the Ukraine! I knew what he wanted me to do was illegal and said I wouldn't do it and I was calling my bank to have them put the money back to where it came from. I did that and explained everything to them and they said it would take five days to actually put the money back, I said fine as long as it is out of my account. Well, Mr. Robe called and threatened me that he would call the bank and say I stole the money., but my bnak said what I did was right and not to worry.
The next day the 7th I went in for knee surgery and I checked on my account and saw that there was ahold on my account for $888,888.88 that the bank put on my account it seems the money that was put in my account was stolen from someone elses account and they file fraud charges against me through the bank. Now, the bank says they can't send the money back unless I put in $840.00 to cover the balance because I had $941.00 in the account before this happened and they can't touch this (?) and after I put the money in then I can have my money back, problem is I am on a fixed income and don't get another check until next Wednesday the 14th of March so I have $10.00 to live on until then. This has created a real mess for me, financially as well as emotionally.
