Worked there briefly. Did not expect much since it was located in Baltimore City. For one month I had to bear with drug dealers (owners) and ex-strippers (wanna-be-models) coming in and out of the spot. The fashion designs were horrid. The "Master Seamstress" could barely sew nor make a decent pattern. The male owner was illiterate, did not have any business sense which probably is attributed to the fact that he smoked marijuana all day everyday.
Since he was a chain smoker it made all the clothes and the entire showroom smell gross. The female owner was just as unethical as the guy. She knew nothing about business, design, production N.O.T.H.I.N.G. The only person that had any business sence was some dude named Marcus but actually he was a prick as well. I feel bad for anyone that think that a Fashion Design company would actually operate in this manner.
Besides that there is nothing Couture about their homemade designs. If this organization is still in existence to this day... I would be really, really surprised. Im certain that this so called "FASHION HOUSE" is a cover up for some illegal operation. If you like to buy overpriced, poorly constructed knockoffs that stink of weed and is funded by drug dealing money DoU Couture is a ideal company to support. As for me and anyone that appreciates a professional enviroment and real fashion developed by real designers do not seek this CRAPHOUSE.
