I went to do my taxes on Febuary 4. Once they were done I asked the young lady how much should i expect to recieve back as my refund. She told me and I recieved a printed document of what is my refund. Well because the IRS had a new system my taxes were late so I recieved my refund two weeks later than my initial date.
Once I recieved my notice that I got my refund back it was not the amount that I was told and/or amount I have documented. I have called the business talked to the supervisor. She told me to write out a statement and she will notify her manager. Well I talked to the manager on Saturday she said she would look at my case and get back to me on Wednesday. Well it is Thursday and I have not heard from her.
I got in contact with the corporate office and talked to someone there, she basically when I did my taxes the young lady that did them initially did not include my 1099 and I didnt know that. The amount I have was incorrect and the next day she included it and did not inform me of changes may be made in my refund.
This is very frustrating because I was told I was getting one amount and got something totally different and I was not notified. The lady at the corporate office she will use what happened to me as a training tool for the people at that company and I told her I am no one's training tool.
I would like to get refunded the entire amount because I was told under false information and this is very disturbing.
