Sad but true, I also bought into the scam. I ordered my jeans late in the game October. I was told that they would arrive in December before Christmas. They promptly took the 10.95 from my bank account within days but NO JEANS EVER ARRIVED! I have not even received a postcard acknowledging my order.
I just went to their web site and they have this whole page on how customers are harrassing them over the internet and that we are the reason that the orders are being held up! Can you believe it! They also threaten that they will come after people for liable.incredible! They rip off people and then act angry because we dare to complain about it.
I pride myself on being a smart consumer and this deal seemed really legitimate. How can they justify taking money for shipping and handling jeans that are never sent? I'm glad that at least I only orderd one pair at 10.95 and not multiple pairs. I order many things over the internet and through the mail and this is the first time that I have been blatently RIPPED OFF!
Oh, and Free Sprit, please do not send another form letter in rebuttal to this posting. It only irritates more than it helps.
