Letting service go down the drain until Time Warner takes ove

We haven't had a problem with Insight in the few years we've used them... Until the last few weeks. Now that Time Warner has purchased them, their cable TV and DVR services are totally falling apart.

The DVR cuts itself off all hours of the day and night, and after it turns itself back on, the programs set to record often disappear. Shows don't get recorded. Shows that are recorded have unexplicable pauses and missing minutes. The TV guide reads "To be announced" for every single program on every channel for hours, so it's impossible to see what programs are on or are going to be on later.

Now it has even started to remove recordings that we've set. Today, I triple-checked (since I knew how bad the DVR has been recently) that a certain program was set to record. However, the DVR shut itself off after I checked, and now we see that it did *not* record the program, which was the main one we wanted to see for the week.

I know this isn't a life and death issue, but we are good customers and always pay our bills, and I hate that we get indifferent service for the money we pay.

I have called and emailed and complained, and their response is, "We're working on it." But we are pretty sure they're just letting it go to h* until Time Warner takes over.
