ASI Conference Systems has not paid me for 2 jobs. One for INTEL and one for ADOBE. I have sent repeated emails to Vivian Wright Bolton and received no reply about payment for over 2 months.
She was however VERY fast to reply when I inquired about a French interpreter. She is obviously ignoring emails about payment.
Other interpreters from the same jobs have all reported not getting paid.
Some were paid after extensive badgering of Vivian. However, she should not have to be badgered to pay her bills.
Our agreement with ASI does not allow us to contact the vendors directly, and promises payment 30 days after invoice. If I do not receive payment next week I will directly contact ADOBE and INTEL about this matter. Our contract stipulations that we do not directly contact vendors is not valid since the agreement was broken by ASI on payment terms.
Furthermore the name on the contract Vivian Bolton is an alias and not a legal entity.
