George Clarke of Yellow Fever Productions is a self-proclaimed award-winning producer/director who does NOT perform the services that he is hired to do! NOR does he return footage that does NOT belong to him!
He stole my footage! He refused to return my footage when I asked for it many times! He kept saying that he would send it! How many times do I have to ask him for it?!!! He claims that he sent it! I do not believe him! He now says that he's going to look for the tracking number of the mail that he sent it! I bet he never finds it! This has been going on for 2 months! That I have not received my footage back!
I need that footage! If I want to change anything that he did for me! He produced an awful promo for me! No one likes it! 2 large networks, a home distributor, and a private channel/network turned me down because they did not like his work! So, I need the footage to be able to fix what he did! But since he absolutely refuses to send it, how can I make changes on the promo so that I can sell it to a network?
So, the money I gave him was all for naught! It was a waste of money! I got nothing for my money! I wasted $7,500.00 on this man and his production company! ($1,500.00 was spent on NOTHING! This was the advance payment on another job! When I asked for the money back, he claimed that he could not give it back! So, I took it as a loss and chalked it up to the previous job! And am now taking it as a loss!)
I worked with another production company in Ireland. They sent their footage to me immediately! How come I got theirs and how come I did not get his?!! This is about the same time that I was asking Mr. Clarke for his footage! How come I did not get his?!!! I had asked for Mr. Clarke's footage BEFORE I HIRED THIS OTHER COMPANY! How come i did not get his footage?!!!
do not hire him for post-production! It has also come to my knowledge that the people that were working for him doing the post-production work - he never paid them for their work out of the money that I gave him! He just pocketed the money himself!
Just as he told ME that he "couldn't return the advance money" that I gave him for another job! So - if you want someone to bad-mouth you, insult you and take your money and do NOTHING for you, then, go ahead and hire him! BUT you will NOT get the raw footage AND the production footage of what he took for you! Also, he only has one way of doing post-production. All of his footage is done the same way!
And he calls you names and claims "you are harassing him" when all you are doing is trying to get your proper materials back that YOU own! So - if you want to take a chance with him, fine! But don't say that I didn't warn you! A very unhappy customer of Yellow Fever Productions owned by George Clarke!
