I bought a Motorola T720 cell phone and signed up with Alltel last year and have been paying for the Product Guard. The light to faceplate stopped working and it was sent to the Manufacturer for repair. Loaner phone given was an older Nokia, which is substandard to me. They didn't have any like mine to use.
I asked why I was not being given a new phone and was told by the Alltel representative, that since it was still under warranty, they had to send it to be fixed. This will take a month and a half.
I feel I should have been given a new phone and the phone being fixed should be used as a loaner phone since they didn't have any in that particular store. They didn't even offer to call other Alltel stores in the area to see if they had one like mine.
