I contacted air quality control agency from an internet ad. They stated they were licensed and insured in wv under an umbrella thru mr james budzeak, vp at western mechanical contractors. Wv law states the company and radon mitigator must me licensed in wv and licensed mitigator must be on site when work is done. Mr budzeak got a license in wv 2 months after i pointed this out to aqca, the company still doesn't have a license.
Before requesting service i was contacted by mr nate kyes and he sent me a warrenty saqmple highlighting the sentence stating that aqca would reduce the radon level to 3.9 or below. It is not below 3.9 and i am told i will have to pay for a service call to determine why, and pay for any modifications because it is the reason for level is out nof their control.
The fan installed has a 7 year warrenty, it was very noisey when installed, they said it was normal, it froze up, bad bearings, after 20 days. They billed me for $149 to replace a new defctive motor, i refused and after i contacted the mi bbb the withdrew the charge. I have contacted them many times mostly zak and matt in service, and they that the warrenty doesn't cover things out of their control. The sales people tell you one thing and service another. It is very hard on my nerves, i am a senior citizen and want to let someone know how dishonest this company is.
