Jeff Herman, owner Bait & Switch, misrepresentation, a total FRAUD!

This post relates to one of the most dishonest retailers and service providers I have ever encountered... WATCHREPAIR.net in Boca Raton, Florida.in early October I contacted the owner of watchrepair.net, Jeff Herman, about getting my wife's Breitling repaired... It had lost the retaining spring for the bezel. He quoted me $350 for the work, claimed it would cost a minimum of $1200 if I sent it to Breitling, and I agreed to have him do the work. I sent him the watch, and he immediately phoned to tell me that it needed additional work over and beyond what we had discussed, and that it would cost a total of $720, BUT that it would cost $1800 if I sent it to Breitling. Again, I foolishly agreed to his price, and he then charged my credit card for the $720 before doing any work at all, which violated our agreement.

Jeff kept the watch until January 12th, over 3 months, and only returned it after I threatened to phone the Palm Beach County District Attorney's office. The watch was returned without any work at all having been performed, and it took me another 10 days of nasty calls and e-mails to get my credit card credited for the $720.

I then sent my watch directly to Breitling... They performed all of the repair work, plus cleaned the case and charged me $299.
People like Jeff Herman and watchrepair.net should be put out of business... They are dishonest, immoral, and take advantage of people on a daily basis.
