After sending us a FEDEX box with preparation for two Rolex watches to be repaired, Herman received watches and proceeded to make himself unavailable by phone and email. His web site was taken down over the weekend of Feb. 25-26 2012 and his email server was rendered inoperable. Numerous phone calls result in a message saying he was closed on Tuesday, Feb 28th and a week prior, he called to apologize for communication delays due to his "heart" problem. Now that his sale phone number has been disconnected, and I see at least 4 or 5 recent Rip Off report entries, I assume he is a scam artist and has our Rolex watches.
I have called the Boca Raton Police and they have informed me that although this is a valid business, that Herman is having "money problems" and has been to court for this. They assured me that if I travel to Boca Raton to retrieve my watches, they will be happy to accompany me to secure them if they are still available. I am filing a complaint tomorrow morning when the AM crew at the station gets in.
DO NOT EVER SEND YOUR WATCHES TO HERMAN or his allegedly fraudulent Watchrepair.net organization.
