ABC Quality Movers took $8,500 to deliver goods from San Francisco to Michigan, and our belongings were never delivered to Michigan. We learned that the goods never left the San Francisco area, but were dumped in a storage facility near SF.
The company repeatedly said the goods were in transit, set repeated dates for delivery, failed to deliver each date. When we learned they had never left SF, we only got our belongings back after we filed a law suit. There were repeats lies that caused much pain.
The company works in several cities, but all work seems to go through the phone number 888.858.8029, where you are directed to people supposedly named Sherry Murphy, or Nicole, or Jennifer. Do not deal with any movers with this phone number. I only write this review to spare other families the hell my family went through to get back our family's belongings.
All addresses we were given for the company proved to be fake. The company is not properly registered in California. ABC Quality Movers are not bonded. We have not had returned the $8,500 paid for move that never happened. They demanded about 100 percent more money to deliver the goods (in violation of federal laws) after they picked up the goods. They repeatedly lied about the goods being in transit. My family has spoken with other victims. We are lucky that we are getting back belonging, but some people never did get back their possession. We got our goods released from the storage facility in Dublin, CA after we filed a law suit. These are the bare outlines of the story.
This company seems to be running a complicated scam that we are just begging to fully figure out.
If taking your goods and not returning them after repeated promises to deliver (at least 6) and lying about where the company is located and where your belongings are, and only getting your goods returned after filing a law suit is theft, then this company is guilty of theft, and much more. Protect yourself and your belongings. Do not hire ABC Quality Movers or LA Moving Systems.
