I chose Rick McGuire law firm because it was local and they advertised that they would help you get transportation to your doctors appts. (I was in a car wreck and the car was totaled)
If your claim goes to court then Rick McGuire uses Law Office of Young & Hussain for the court process.
Rick McGuire's office agreed to represent me in my personal injury claim. They did not help me with transportation and they didn't return most phone calls for updates. When I asked for my paperwork to be sent to me (several times) I received it and realized that if I decided to not have them as my lawyer anymore that I would owe them for their time, so I decided to try and stick it out.
A month or so later Rick McGuire's office informs me the case has been referred to Young and Hussain. To make a long story short. Young and Hussain started out positive, but now 5 YEARS LATER they are still no closer to getting my case completed.
To let you know what the personal injury claim is for: My daughter and I were sitting at a stop light waiting for the light to turn green when 2 trucks on the cross street in front of us ran into each other and one of them hit us and totaled our car. Everyone agrees I wasn't at fault, one insurance company is saying the other company is responsible.
I would strongly suggest that if you use this law firm that you stay on top of things and end your contract early if things don't progress. After 5 years it would cost me more to "fire" them than to "keep" them.
