Verbally requested account cancellation before due date at store. Billed for two months after that. Store clerk would not issue refund and claimed no record of cancellation existed (on unused account). Told to come back next day to speak w / manager who could issue the refund. The manager refused to issue refund and referred me to the 1-800 customer service number. Called the service number and again told they could not issue a refund and that a District Manager would call in the next three days to discuss the refund or issue? I don't wish to discuss anything with their District Manager, because nothing other than a refund that is owed to me for their incompetence is satisfactory. I am getting the run-around. 245 consumer complaintss made against Blockbuster so far. My advice is to not do business with them at all.
