We were, I believe, intentionally mislead by representatives of EmbroidMe.com when we investigated buying a franchise. We were shown graphs at corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida indicating we would be making a profit within 3 to 6 months after opening our store.
After buying a franchise, we lost money for almost a year. We are currently so far in debt, our equipment is in danger of being repossessed. Several EmbroidMe stores have failed. Little Falls, NJ closed after being evicted, Old Bridge, NJ closed in less than 2 months, Cranberry Township, Pa store closed. Several other stores are struggling and in jeopardy of closing.
This company should be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission for fraud. We lost our entire life savings. We currently have retained an attorney to fight these people off, and are prepared to file for bankrupcy.
